The Nestling Centre is registered private school operating in the central business district of Chingola, on the Copperbelt Province of Zambia. Starting off as a day-care centre in the year 2010, the school transitioned into a renowned preschool a year later. In January 2022, the school introduced primary education with our highest grade in 2026 being grade 5. We are going all the way to grade 7 until it is phased out in 2028.

The school offers day care, nursery and primary school education using the Zambian curriculum.

Our approach combines strong academic grounding with holistic development, fostering curiosity, creativity, and confidence in every child.

Dedicated to offering a holistic educational experience, Nestling Centre is supported by a qualified team of teachers and caregivers who nurture learners’ growth and development. The team is constantly trained to suit modern trends in education and meet the ever-increasing demands and expectations of parents and guardians.

Administration

A fully qualified primary school teacher with six years of working at the Nestling Centre, Ms Funjika is renowned for fostering a culture of excellence, championing integrity and driving the uniqueness of the school with precision. Outside school, Ms Funjika is committed to her Christian works at church while raising her children in the ways of the Lord.

Equipped with secondary school teaching education specialised in mathematics, Mr Mwango has a flair in administration and is at the helm of academic excellence in school. Away from his administrative works, he is often found at the football pitch teaching and socializing with the community.

With a secondary school teaching diploma, Ms Kavunga has adapted herself so well in the baby class, renowned for her patience and adaptability. Away from school, she sharpens her skills in crafts and outdoor adventures.

With more than 8 years’ experience in early childhood education, Ms Barbra creates a warm, safe and stimulating class environment where children explore, play, and grow. She is also passionate about cooking.

With music as her passion, Barrister drives her class in songs and rhymes with dedication. She ensures foundational reading skills for primary education readiness.

Heading the primary school section, Ms Mwita has over 8 years’ experience and excels in literacy skills, driving her class to excellence.
